While the police suspect Kyowakai’s involvement in the string of attacks, the group feigns innocence. Acting on Kuroiwa’s (Susumu Terajima) tip, Special Investigator Matsumiya (Gen Hongo) summons Okada, but the tense exchange nearly turns explosive. Outside the station, Himuro and Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) lie in wait—until they spot Kawatani (Hitoshi Ozawa) watching too. Just before they act, they stop him. Kawatani walks away, leaving them with: “Take care of the Kyowakai.” As tensions escalate between the Kyowakai and Marugami-kai, Ryuji (Tatsuya Kishida) remains unconscious. Burdened with guilt, Nakajima (Yoshimi Tachi) secretly prepares for revenge. At last, Kawatani and Mita (Shun Sugata) face off for a final showdown.
